There are some jobs when you grow up in Amarillo that you dream of doing when you get a little older. They may not be your career job, but it is something that gives you your first job vibes and lots of stories to tell.

One of those jobs could be lifeguarding over the summer. That job gives you sun and the responsibility of making sure everyone is safe at the pool. If you want something that is still fun but not a life-or-death job, there are options.

Role Requirements: What It Takes to Be a Sod Poodles Bat Boy

This is a job that is a lot of fun. You get to have the best seats in the house, and you get to watch a baseball game. I mean, that is a win-win if I have ever heard of one. The role they are trying to fill has one requirement: you have to be at least sixteen years old.

How to Apply: Navigating the Sod Poodles Job Application

There is a job application to fill out, like in any job. Judging by the number of people on social media asking about the age limit, it’s clear this is a dream job for many.

So yes, you have to be at least sixteen, but I am telling you there are many people of all ages wanting this job. The Sod Poodles are looking for you now to fill the bat boy position.
