Homeschool at the Amarillo Zoo This Fall

When it comes to homeschooling in Amarillo it can be a great option. I mean, if you can do it, go for it. The problem is sometimes you are looking for great activities for the kiddos.

Sometimes you can feel like you need a little less home time and it would be nice to find activities outside of the home. Sometimes you would like there to be another teacher than just you.

That is where the Amarillo Zoo would love to step in and help just a bit. Who would not love to hang out at the zoo? There is not a kid that would say no to this. So why not take advantage of a little field trip for your homeschool kid?

Important news for our homeschooling families! Join us for Homeschool at the Zoo (HATZ), where learning meets adventure!

The time is now to get your homeschooler registered. The classes are about to begin:

Every Thursday from October 30th to December 11th, your kids (ages 5-12) can explore the wonders of wildlife while engaging in hands-on educational activities.

No class on November 27th Time: 10 AM - 12 PM Cost: $200
This is a drop-off program, so parents can enjoy some free time while their kids dive into the animal kingdom!

Register by October 29th

It's simple to get them registered but don't wait. The deadline is coming up. Hanging out at the Amarillo Zoo would one hundred percent be my granddaughters dream day. Heck, you only will have to lead her to the bobcats. Having more fun than that is part of the schedule..
