Nothing ruins the start of an Amarillo business day then discovering theft at work. Imagine driving into your parking lot and discovering some of your property was messed with. Enough that it warranted a total replacement with the cost falling on the business.

I know that theft is not something that you plan for. It just seems like this one is totally senseless. The Discovery Center was hit by a theft that just makes no sense. A theft that they were not at all prepared for. A theft that they are now asking the community to help with.

They showed up to work on Tuesday morning to discover that their company truck was vandalized. It was still there. The back two tires and rims were not. This put the Discovery Center in a position where they needed to replace all of the above.

They were not prepared for a morning to start like that. They were not prepared to have to purchase two new tires and rims. I am sure you have been there.

You have been in a situation where you hit something and ended up with a flat. You may have to replace a tire or two. That is costly. Now factor in replacing rims too.

The Discovery Center is now asking for help. They are looking for information about who, first of all, stole the tires and rims. They are looking for help to also defer some of the cost.

If you would like to help with this or anything at The Discovery Center there is a way you can. All you have to do is click HERE. You know your kids have or still enjoy going to the Discovery Center. This is the best way to help.
