Big Jim’s Asking For Community Help to Give Back For Thanksgiving

As we are rushing around Amarillo trying to get everything ready for the perfect family Thanksgiving that is not the case for everyone. There are some families just trying to put food on the table on a daily basis.

You have noticed how much it costs you every week to go to the grocery store. You may have been able to cut costs in other places by making the adjustment to cover the cost of food. Not all families in Amarillo are that lucky.

They are not planning extravagant meals with extended family. They are not planning the car ride to travel. They are just hoping to have a meal on their table. Big Jim's Pizza, KN Root Beer, and Tascosa Drive-In are trying to make this Thanksgiving a little easier on twenty families this holiday season.

Thanksgiving is next week and they are having a hard time securing the items needed. Big Jim's realizes it's been a tough year for everyone. That is why they are providing the turkeys and they are just asking for help with the sides to go along with it.

You can sign up for items HERE. You can volunteer to get a package of dinner rolls or even twenty packages. Any amount helps. Take a look at the list and sign up. All it is going to consist of is a quick trip to the grocery store.

They are not asking you to spend any time in the kitchen. This is a great way to get the families that are struggling this holiday season their own great Thanksgiving meal. This way everyone can have that Thanksgiving meal and those memories.
