Trick-or-Treat With Tigers: Amarillo Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo 2025

Halloween is a fun time in Amarillo. Whether you like it just because of the bags and bags of candy, dressing up, or you love being scared, this is your time. We are getting close to all of the fun of the season.

There are going to be several fun things to do around town. There are fun events for just the adults. There are also plenty of activities for kids and families. I am excited to have my family in town so I can have fun at some of these.

Halloween Fun Returns to the Amarillo Zoo

They just announced the details for Boo at the Zoo, and I can't wait. We went to the zoo last year before the big event, so I got to see a lot of the setup, but this year we are getting tickets and have already picked which night we are going. I can't wait.

So the event is happening on Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18. The hours are from 6 pm until 9 pm, and it's going to be a lot of fun. It's about a month away, and the presale has just begun, according to the Amarillo Zoo: 

Join us—if you dare—on October 17 & 18 from 6:00–9:00 PM for Amarillo Zoo’s largest event, presented by Raising Canes and the Amarillo Zoo. The Zoo will be crawling with tricks, treats, games, and ghoulishly good fun for the whole family!
