When it comes to major milestones in the Texas Panhandle, we have a lot to look forward to growing up. From big birthdays to turning sixteen, when we finally gain a little independence with that driver's license.

A Milestone to Remember: The Journey to Graduation

A lot of us go to Homecoming and Prom. We can't wait to grow up, and then once we cross off all of the big milestones, those are the ones we look back on fondly. The biggest one is graduation.

That could be going on to more school, or maybe just getting into the workforce. Things change at graduation as we are making our way to being full contributing members of society.

As that final walk across the stage approaches, parents find themselves reflecting on every milestone that led to this moment. They are feeling a little sentimental and rightfully so. They plan graduation parties. They may put an ad in the senior yearbook.

Downtown Decor: Canyon Main Street’s First Senior Fundraiser

Canyon is adopting a tradition that has been a staple in Amarillo for years. They are going to recognize their outgoing seniors with a banner where everyone in the city can celebrate their accomplishment.

According to Canyon Main Street:

Canyon Main Street is excited to announce our FIRST‑ever Senior Banner Fundraiser!
We’re thrilled to celebrate and showcase our amazing Canyon High School Seniors with banners proudly displayed in our downtown district.

How to Reserve Your Canyon High School Senior Banner

If you have a senior graduating this year in Canyon, make sure you reserve your banner now and make sure that your senior gets to see their picture on a banner on Canyon's Main Street.
