How did your school do in this week's rivalry games?

The weather on Friday night was perfect for high school football. Crowds gathered at the fields to see high school teams face off against each other in some of this season's biggest district rivalries.

Randall and Canyon went head to head at Kimbrough while Caprock and PD fought it out at Dick Bivins. Tascosa and Amarillo High both played outside of Amarillo ISD, taking on Frenship and Hereford, respectively.

Canyon beat Randall 34-15 and Caprock took the victory over PD, 27-14. Tascosa won against Frenship, 34-27. Amarillo High also got a win against Hereford with a final score of 28-10.

Right now, Canyon is leading Canyon ISD with a record of 5-1. Randall is currently 1-5. The current standings for Amarillo ISD are:

  • Caprock, 5-1
  • Tascosa, 5-2
  • Amarillo High, 3-2
  • Palo Duro, 1-5

This Thursday, Canyon will play Palo Duro at Dick Bivins. On Friday, Randall will play Hereford, Amarillo High will face Plainview, Caprock will challenge Dumas, and Tascosa will go against Permian.
