The gas station/convenience store game has really bloomed in Amarillo. What was once a 'certain store' on every corner has evolved into a market filled with options. Having these options has really made a difference in our city.

I mean, we only had really one option for donuts at one point as well. Now we have several places to go with different donuts to try. The abundance of places to get gas and daily snacks has provided us with much-needed variety.

The Rise of Circle K: From Zero to Six in the 806

One of the companies in the gas station war that has come to Amarillo and then just exploded is Circle K. We went from having none to having six locations open, with even more on the way. The latest one that has just started to go up is the location on South Washington near the Loop.

This is a great location for anyone who is employed out that way. Especially the employees of Affiliated Foods. This would be the closest one to their workplace. If they just need an escape to grab a fountain drink or a snack, this would be a quick getaway.
