Could We Be Seeing More of Judy’s Place Back in Amarillo?
Right before Christmas, we got a gift. Judy's Place closed awhile back but Judy's daughters were jumping in to give us a Christmas miracle. A Christmas Eve with Judy's breakfast burritos and biscuits and gravy. It was one morning but was enough to make a lot of people happy.
There was just something about those breakfast burritos that started my family's morning off right. I just loved the green sauce that was served with the burritos. The red salsa was good but I always loved the green. So when they closed I thought I would never have that greatness in my life again. I was sad. So was a lot of Amarillo. We grew fond of Judy's Place.
That Christmas Eve event was a success. I saw people lining up before serving time. I was in Dallas so I couldn't be there but I watched it on social media. It made me sad that I missed it.
Jamie, one of Judy's daughters, who worked to get those burritos and biscuits and gravy back in Amarillo has more news. News that made me happy. She is testing the water to see how interested we would be if she started selling the red and green salsas. I replied already with a yes, please.
Not only that there is more news. The availability of jarred salsas was already great news but how about more opportunities to get that Judy's Place taste we all miss?
