Sometimes when I am out delivering in Amarillo I feel the customer wants us to play a guessing game. I sometimes wonder if this is a power trip from the customer. Why would they want to do something like this? I don't know. It just keeps you from your delivery that much longer.

I want to pick up your food and get it to you as quickly as possible. I want the food to still be piping hot or that ice cream to be brain-freeze cold. There are some things the customer can do on their end to make this pleasant for everyone.

How to Make Your Delivery in Amarillo Better

You need to make sure you give us all of the information. If we are delivering to a business, hotel, or apartment you are staying in give us more than the address. Include the name of the business or hotel or even the apartment's name.

There are a lot of businesses close together sometimes in a shopping center and automatically telling us the business names leaves out any questions. We don't have to drive up and down the shopping center hunting for the suite number. It makes things easier.

Same thing with hotels and apartments. If we have the name, trust me it makes things easier. We do have a lot of hotels near each other. Same thing with apartments. If we can automatically know we are at the correct place it speeds things up. Speaking from experience you can't always trust the GPS system that delivery services use. They bring us to incorrect places all of the time. A name would help.

Continuing on the apartment and hotel route please give us all of the information we need. Please give us the hotel room number if we are delivering to your room. Don't make us have to contact you to get it. Please give us your apartment number as well. It makes things faster.

If you live in an apartment with a gate code please give it to us. Whether the gate is currently open or not. You never know when it is going to be closed. Don't make us have to wait for another car to go through so we can piggyback behind them. Or don't make us have to wait for you to message us back with a code.

We want you to get your food as soon as possible too. We want to be on our way to another order and more money. So giving us all of the information we need right away will make both of our days better.
