
65 Million Years in the Making: What’s Behind the New Signs at the DHDC?
Growing up as a kid in Amarillo, we all had one thing in common. We went through a dinosaur phase. Whether we outgrow the phase or still get a thrill from a T-Rex roar, prehistoric exhibits have a way of bringing out the kid in all of us.
We can relive the fun and get back to the excitement of dinosaurs at the Don Harrington Discovery Center. I first saw a billboard or two letting us know that the dinosaurs were coming.
The Outdoor Icons: Meet Trixie the Triceratops and Rexas the T-Rex
When we went to the Discovery Center recently, we knew they were getting ready for something big. Now we know that in the outdoor area, there are two huge dinosaurs to see. There is Trixie the Triceratops and Rexas the T-Rex.
That was not all. We were soon going to be able to see much more when we step through those Discovery Center doors. This was going to be something bigger. The signs wanted to make sure that we knew.

What were we going to be able to see? Who was ready for the dinosaurs to take over? I know that my family is getting excited. The time is near, don't you worry. According to the Discovery Center:
