Discovering Improvements for this Amarillo Family Fun Place

Being a kid in Amarillo is just great. I mean all of the places that cater to making sure they have fun is great. I have spent the past few years being introduced to all the fun places for a toddler.

When the granddaughter is in town we have a list of places that we have to visit and that she is excited to visit. Nah, she is not spoiled at all. Amarillo does have a lot of fun places where kids can just play.

One of the places we frequent is the Don Harrington Discovery Center. She loves just running around. She loves the slide. She loves the bunny rabbit. It's just fun. She has spent a lot of time in the Kinderstudio. That is the area just for kiddos under the age of six.

They have all sorts of fun things to do. Her favorite is all the puppets and the area to put on a show. They have a play area to climb on. They have books and puzzles. This is the area that also has the baby corral for the littlest ones.

It's a great area and the Discovery Center is looking to improve on it. They want input from those of us who use it the most. What do we want added? How can they improve on what they already offer?

I'm excited to see where this remodel takes us. I can't wait to see all of the grand ideas that come out of our community. The Discovery Center already has a lot to offer the kiddos. My favorite part? The kids are learning while they are playing and they don't even know it.
