As we are getting closer and closer to fall. It will be here before you know it. We like to think about the cool down and everything we have in our future. One of the exciting times on the horizon is Halloween.

We will have everything pumpkin. We will get everything spooky. Halloween is starting to get the recognition it deserves. Stores start selling all the Christmas stuff as early as humanly possible. Heck, some places it seems it is up year round.

So to see Halloween out here in August it is kind of refreshing. One Spirit Halloween store is already open for business. Has been since early August. You can get your yard decorations purchased. If you want to put them out there is nobody stopping you.

I have seen Halloween costumes also out at Party City. So they are around and ready for you to decide who you want to be this year. You will have options on where you want to go. Of course, you may want to check them all out. Just so you don't miss anything.

Where You Can Go Shopping for Halloween in Amarillo

  • Spirit Halloween - They have two locations. One is already open at 34th and Bell in the old Party City location. There is going to be another one in Westgate Mall near Urban Air that one is opening up on August 19th.
  • Party City - They already have some of their costumes out.
  • Walmart - You know they will have your costumes and candy. Walmart will be ready for you.
  • Target - Another great place to see what their selection of costumes will be this year.
  • Home Depot - Heck, they have some crazy yard decorations including that 12 foot skeleton.
  • Lowes - Another great places to get your home ready to spook the trick-or-treaters.

So whether you like to stock up for Halloween early or wait a bit closer in the fall you have options. You will have plenty of options. Long live the Halloween spirit in Amarillo.
