With Halloween right around the corner, what better way to prepare for all things spooky than to fill your think box with some of the most disturbing stories ever to be told? If nothing sounds better, then there may be a job for you!

USDish.com is asking for Stephen King fans to get their popcorn ready and a scare buddy on standby because one lucky fan will be selected to earn $1,300 just for watching 13 film adaptations of the famous horror writer's books.

The challenge comes in the wake of 'IT: Chapter Two' smashing box office expectations and leading up to the release of the sequel to 'The Shining', called 'Doctor Sleep', scheduled to release in November 2019. Both movies are being offered as an option to watch with the gift card included in the winner's package.

Candidates will ideally be detail-oriented enough to track the experience while watching the 13 classic King inspired films, including sharing every jump scare they capture on video to social media outlets. To apply for this horror fan dream job, click here. No purchase is necessary, but applicants must be 18-years-old or older and a US citizen or permanent resident.

The list of the 13 films the chosen one will watch are:

  • Carrie (Original or 2013 remake)
  • Children of The Corn
  • Christine
  • Creepshow
  • Cujo
  • Dreamcatcher
  • It (original or 2017 remake)
  • The Mist
  • Pet Sematary (Original or 2019 remake)
  • Salem's Lot
  • The Shining
  • Thinner
  • Misery

There are a few other minor requests that USDish.com is making of the person picked for this guilty pleasure including tracking heart rate, the number of jump scares and even log sleep... if sleep can be acheived after watching.
