Final Week to Enjoy This Downtown Amarillo, Texas Eatery Before Move

The ever-changing landscape of Amarillo restaurants can leave us guessing. One day, your favorite is open, and then the next, they are gone. Most times, this happens without notice.  It's the circle of life in the restaurant world here in Amarillo.

So when we are given a heads-up about a local place here in Amarillo we appreciate it. There is one restaurant in downtown Amarillo that is about to be on the move. They started out as just a food truck. Then a few years ago they got their permanent location.

I remember the owner, Yolanda telling me about the news around the time I was telling her about my trip to Dallas while my granddaughter was being born. Now my granddaughter is about to turn four this fall and Yolanda is about to make the move to a new location.

Yolo's is moving from downtown Amarillo to a building that I was thrilled to see finally get some work to make it look so much better. They are moving to 34th and Western and it is happening soon.

They have one week left in their downtown location. Before they start running out of their food truck again while the finishing touches are being done.  They have been sharing the news all over.

The time has come for us to move. We are very excited to be able to serve yall at our new location. It's a bittersweet transformation for our family. We have absolutely loved our building on 6th and have enjoyed serving all of you. Please come see us this final week. As a small business this is the right move for us to grow and we look forward to welcoming everyone into the new location on Western next month. Until then we will be seeing you at our food truck window! We love yall and appreciate every time you dine with us.
