[Gallery] The Sights of the Tri-State Fair in Amarillo

One of the big things we look forward to in Amarillo when it starts to cool down is the Tri-State Fair. Even though I think we got cheated this year in the cool-down department. We are definitely missing out on the fair weather.

What we are not missing out on is any of the other fun. This is the perfect time to grab the friends and family and head out to the Tri-State Fairgrounds. There is plenty of food, fun, rides, games, and live music for everyone.

Walking through the food area I lost count on how many different booths there are to eat at. I think the toughest part is deciding on just what you are in the mood for. They really have something for everyone. So much food, so little time. I guess it's how much food you can eat in nine days.

You can go every single day and not eat the same thing twice if that is your goal. The fair offers free gate admission every single weekday before three in the afternoon so you can get your co-workers to sneak over for lunch.

If the food is not enough there is plenty of entertainment. There are shows, live music, and even the rodeo to enjoy during the week.

If you are the adventurous types you can't miss out on all of the rides. There are plenty to get your heart racing. There are also plenty that the kids can enjoy as well. There are some height restrictions so make sure you check those out.
