Everything Must Go: The Hillside Boutique Opening Its Doors for One Final Saturday
The business landscape in Amarillo is ever-changing. We can have several businesses in the area open and close in just a few days. Luckily, we have not seen a ton of closings so far this year.
Clearing the Space: Why Lillie's Boutique is Holding a Final Sale
When a business closes, landlords look forward to bringing a new tenant into the space. That is what is currently happening at Lillie's Boutique on Hillside.
Apparently, they went out of business, and according to posts I have seen in an Amarillo Area Buy, Sale, and Trade Group, the store is not empty. The owner of the building would like it to be empty so it can be leased again.
She's (the owner) closed the store. I own the building and am just cleaning it out to be able to lease it again. -Diana
In order to make that happen, they are opening the doors this Saturday to sell everything they can. The clothes, the fixtures, and the decor so that the building can get ready to lease again.
Know Before You Go: Cash Only and No Dressing Rooms
What does that mean to you? Savings, of course. I mean, that is the best part. According to the listing that I saw:
65% Off all merchandise, 20% Off all sale merchandise, store fixtures, and decor priced as marked. CASH ONLY NO Cash Apps. NO Dressing Rooms. All sales final. - Diana
Fixtures and Decor: A Unique Opportunity for Other Business Owners
The location at 6200 Hillside Red Space 400 will be open on Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm. That is when they are hoping to get everything sold and out of the store. I guess this is one of those situations where someone else's loss can be your gain.
If you have shopped at Lillie's Boutique in the past and want a last chance to snag up some fashion, then this Saturday is it. They will try to get everything gone and a new place to hopefully move in. At least that is what the owner of the building is hoping.
Amarillo is, in fact, always changing.
