Is Amarillo About To Get A Jack In The Box?

There are things we talk about all the time when it comes to businesses we want to see open in Amarillo. H-E-B, Costco, Long John Silvers. Those three are hands down the most talked about places and any kind of rumor sends us into a frenzy.

However, there is another one that gets brought up from time to time, and when it does, it's the same type of reaction. Elation, anticipation, then usually letdown when we realize it's just a rumor.

Well allow me to get you in a tizzy because I just saw something that got me beyond hyped up, and I had to share it with you.

Nooooooo way. can you imagine? I'd lose it if I could get my hands back on those tacos. I used to CRUSH those things when I lived in Austin. I mean, we went to a baseball tournament in Midland for my boys over the spring, and the hotel we stayed at was next to a Jack In The Box. I'm pretty sure we ordered 30 tacos one night for dinner.

All of that is neither here nor there. I started digging into the Jack In The Box website looking for someone to contact and ask if they were getting ready to have a location here. I found a contact page for franchisee questions and sent a message off. No response from them as of yet.

While I was on the page, I noticed there was a map that allowed me to see where franchise locations were available. I clicked on Texas and a list of cities popped up.

Well wouldn't you know it, Amarillo is one of the few cities available for a franchise here. Now, don't hold your breath, because we hear these types of rumors all the time. I'll update once I hear back from Jack In The Box...if I hear back from them. In the meantime, have sweet dreams about those tacos.
