Is This Olsen Boulevard Location in Amarillo Closed for Good?

There are just times that you see the writing on the wall when it comes to the success of businesses in Amarillo. You can tell that things are going to maybe not turn out so great for them.

That is the case when it comes to MJ's Saloon and Grill on Olsen Boulevard. They had some success. They got a lot of people to show up. Sometimes having a lot of people in your establishment is not always great, especially when it's not the right type of people.

They had a lot of issues where police ended up having to be near. There were fights and other things you don't want associated with your place of business. So to try to keep all of that at bay they messed with dress codes and age limits.

They tried the dress code route first. Then they made the dress code stricter and limited the ages of who could come in. That may have helped with the issues but it also didn't help with the number of people that would show up. People would go elsewhere.

What Happened at MJ’s Saloon This Week?

That leads to word going on around social media that they have closed. They did have two different days earlier this week where they took to social media to say they were closed. One day it was their system being down. The next day the issue seemed to be their plumbing.

Now it just seems they are closed. There was talk going on the Mugshots of Randall County Page discussing it. They were trying to help the employees find new jobs.

MJ's Saloon and Grill has done it again. To close their doors without giving any employees a heads up. They say doors are permanently closed. Stated that their systems are just down. Kinda what happens when you don’t claim,report, or even pay employees. Sorry excuse for owners/management. - Kortney

 

Is MJ’s Saloon Closed for Good?

There has not been any update on MJ's Saloon and Grill page in a couple of days. When we drove by recently it sure didn't look open. So what is happening with MJ's Saloon and Grill.

This seems like a good time for Hoot's Pub to have straightened out their ownership and have a Grand Reopening. This only helps them since they are close by.

Is MJ's Saloon and Grill closed for good? Is it temporary like their page says? Or is it something more than that?
