Is Remodel the Word of the Year for 2024 in Amarillo?

The year is 2024 in Amarillo and it seems to be the year of the remodel. We have had several places shut down and get a total facelift. We have seen Wendy's around town go through this process one by one.

We are watching as the Starbucks in Wolflin Village is going through this too. Then there are the Braums.  It's nice when they get done. We have a shiny new place. Oh, but the wait. It about kills us especially if that was your go-to location.

Yes, it is nice to have multiple in the areas but sometimes your time doesn't have any built-in extras to give you and get you to another location. So you just have to wait. Oh, and that wait just seems like it can be the longest.

The wait is over for those of you needing the Braums at 801 E Amarillo Boulevard. They have been closed. They were in that remodel process and now that wait is over. We finally got to the shiny and new fun time. The wait is over.

The one in Canyon is reopened too, which is good when your city only has one. That was also more good news. So one by one as they start to reopen different parts of our area get to rejoice.

Who will be next? It seems like the Braums on Western will reopen in a couple of weeks or at least that is the hope. So see there is a light at the end of the Braums tunnel.

It's nice to have nice shiny things to appreciate. It's nice to have our restaurants get an overhaul now we just need to make sure we take care of them as they reopen and keep them that way.
