Texans love Whataburger, and why not? They're positively amazing.

Whataburger Is King In Texas

One of the best things about Whataburger is that they never stray too far from what makes them great. They do have specialty burgers from time-to-time, but it's usually a matter of rotating fantastic tried-and-true tastes in and out seasonally. For those of you who can't read between the lines, I'm talking about my personal favorite, the Green Chile Double. I also like to frequently say that I've never had bad fries from Whataburger.  I enjoy Whataburger fries so much, I'll occasionally grab up some biscuits and gravy for breakfast and dip my fries in them. Yum!

I guess that first paragraph just revealed that I'm a big fan and if you are too, then I have a place you need to visit. That place is in Corpus Christi and was originally referred to as "Whataburger by the Bay". This location of Whataburger is huge and come in at a massive 6000 square feet and even includes a rooftop patio. Having this whole other level also makes it the only Whataburger to have it's own elevator. If you're ever in the area you can find this huge Whataburger at 121 North Shoreline Boulevard.

The Beginning

Those in the know know that Whataburger was actually founded in Corpus Christi way back in 1950. The family that owned the chain sold it in 2019, but this may be that one rare case where the quality never suffered. If there has been a change at Whataburger, then I sure haven't seen or tasted it.

Hope For Non-Texans

If you happen to be reading this from outside Texas, you may be interested to know that Whataburger's condiments are so popular they are available on store shelves here. I'll tell you right now, one taste of Whataburgers spicy ketchup and you'll be hooked for life.
