Spring in the Texas panhandle is a special time. It's like the whole region comes back to life after hibernating for the winter. There are a lot of events planned, the great outdoors are calling, and we're spring cleaning. It also means big book sales for those of us with an empty spot on our bookshelf.

The sale kicks off on Thursday, April 18, and lasts through Saturday, April 20. On Thursday and Friday, the sale lasts from 10 AM until 6 PM. The prices of books are hard to beat, and they've got two rooms set up for you to shop through.

Where To Get Cheap Books In The Texas Panhandle This April

The mind-blowing part of all this is how much they are charging for books. You'll be able to get books for insanely cheap during the sale. They will be charging as little as $0.50 for hardbacks, paperbacks are priced as low as two for $0.25, and $1.00 for DVDs and audiobooks on CD.

If you're a person who loves collecting books, you know it's hard to beat those prices.

The funds raised through the book sale go to help the Friends of the Library fund reading programs for all three libraries in Hutchinson County. The sale will be held at the Borger branch at 625 Weatherly. Go check it out. Who knows, you might find your next favorite book at the big sale.
