Amarillo residents are waiting in anticipation for the home of the most popular beaver to open their doors to the public.   This is a big deal for Amarillo because the closest Buc-ee's to Amarillo has been in the DFW area.

This will be a Buc-ee's close to home and for those traveling on I-40.   It'll be a great place to stop and get gas, use a super clean bathroom and drop over $100 in less than 5 minutes on all the great things Buc-ee's have to offer.

It's one of those places that people make it a point to stop at while on the road.

Amarillo is ready to stop at its local Buc-ee's, and they have already decided on the first thing to buy when the store opens.

Buc-ee's is one of the biggest convenience stores open in Texas, although not all Buc-ee's are the largest in the world, most of them are the big daddy of convenience stores.

Construction is still ongoing daily at the Amarillo location, and the company has started the hiring process for all positions.  Amarillo residents are hoping that the store will open in 2024 instead of the anticipated 2025 opening day.
