Amarillo Shopping Area Soon to Grow With Fries, Knives and Parts

As I was scrolling through social media recently I was reminded how fast things can change in our area. I saw a post about a second location in Amarillo for a burger and fries place. A place that I am surprised has taken this long to get a second location.

The place is of course Five Guys. My co-workers reminded me that yes, I had already written a story about this fact. Wow, how could I forget doing that? Oh, but I did. I mean in my defense it was almost a year ago. And like I said things change a lot around Amarillo.

So when I saw this recent social media post I thought we need a reminder of just what is going on in this shopping center. You drive by now and you can't miss O'Reilly's Auto Parts.

The Five Guys is getting a location there. Oh, and right between the two will be where The Knife Guys will be moving. According to Coldwell Bankers' post, it has been officially leased. We found out late last year that they are moving out of the mall and getting their own stand-alone location

It's nice to see that this once-empty building is finding new life. from being the home of Charlie's Furniture for several years to then becoming empty. New life is great for that location. It just makes the city look nicer. Oh, and it is a great location. More burgers, more fries, and if you need a knife to cut that burger, we know a place.
