UPDATE, February 20, 3:20 PM: The train has been cleared and traffic is back to normal on Amarillo Blvd.

On Monday, February 20, at 10:50 am, the Amarillo Police Department was called out to the 3300 block of Amarillo Blvd. East.  A train in the area had derailed.  Due to the derailment, both lanes of Amarillo Blvd were blocked.   The train also knocked down power lines in the area.
