Amarillo’s Leaf & Bubble Makes Emotional Plea for Support
It's no surprise that there are certain months that are really tough for local businesses in Amarillo. Restaurants in particular get hit a few times a year. They seem to always slow down in January because of the amount of money we spend over Christmas. That is when the credit card bills start rolling in. Plus we may be dealing with New Year's Resolutions at that time too.
Why September Hurts Local Businesses
We also know it is going to slow down in September. That is the first full month the kiddos are back in school. We already did our back-to-school shopping and took our last minute vacations and those credit card bills are rolling in. Then local businesses also have to deal with the ten days when the fair is in town.

Those months can be really tough to keep things going. The nice thing is that places can take to social media and give us a warning. Before they just sat in silence and hoped maybe word of mouth helped them while struggling.
Leaf & Bubble’s Honest Plea to Amarillo
Now they can take to the masses and help spread the word which is exactly what Leaf & Bubble recently did:
A Little Heart-to-Heart from Leaf & Bubble
Hi friends — this is a super honest post from us. We’ve poured our hearts into creating a space where you can enjoy fresh boba, dreamy smoothies, and acai bowls made with love… but right now we are in serious need of your support.
Owning a small business is beautiful but tough, and we’re at the point where every visit truly matters. If you’ve been meaning to stop by, this is your sign. Bring a friend, grab your favorite drink, try something new — we promise to make it with all the love and care that Leaf & Bubble was built on.
Supporting local doesn’t just keep us open… it keeps the magic alive in our community.
So if you’ve ever enjoyed our teas, acai bowls, or just our vibes, please consider swinging by this week and continually— it would mean the absolute world to us and keep us apart of this community
Thank you, Amarillo. We couldn’t do this without you.
— Your Leaf & Bubble family
