If you can find a great meal and a lunch special, that is the way to go. There is a place that offers lunch specials that change each and every week. It's probably a place you really didn't know about. I sure didn't until recently.

They are located in the basement of the Amarillo Police Department in Downtown Amarillo. Did you know they had a place? I guess it makes sense. A place for our police officers to get a meal and a coffee before, after, or during their shift.

It does happen to be in the basement of the Amarillo Police Department so the running joke is to make sure you don't have any warrants. While I do believe if you have any you should clear those up. I seriously think the police of our city have better things to do than sit in the restaurant running everyone's background.
