There are some times when Amarillo is really stuck in its ways. I get it. Change can be scary. With change, though, we are able to discover a new favorite. Whether you are sad that a business you loved closed or a favorite dish is taken off of a menu change can be a little inconvenient.

That change, though, can introduce you to something totally new that you love even more. Change has to happen so we can move forward. Or does it? Sometimes things just work out and that change doesn't stick.

With the new ownership, almost everything on the menu stayed the same. Which made a lot of us in Amarillo happy. Until they decided about a month ago to try to change their fries.

Luckily for the ones on team "original fries" an ordering issue gave you the results you wanted. The announcement was recently made from Malcolm's that the fries that they started with are back.

Was it really supplier issues or are they just giving the majority what they wanted? I don't think any of us really care about the reasoning. I just know that a lot of people are thrilled to have the original fries back.

First, they made us happy by bringing us Malcolm's back and now they are giving us our fries again. This is a great world we live in.
