For those playing at home and have not heard the news, a food-truck-style restaurant with indoor seating is moving in. They are closing up at their current location and bringing Mi Gente to the former Butterlove Dinnerhouse location.

Mi Gente Brings a Fresh Concept to 34th & Bell

According to a recent social media post:

Big News, Big Move, Mi Gente!
We are moving! Our downtown doors will be closing soon as we prepare to welcome you to our brand-new home at 34th & Bell.  Chef Paul will be creating and cooking all of your favorites and more inside his new commercial kitchen
A new location means a fresh new vibe — with lunch, dinner, and late-night hours. Opening this October — we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!

Excited for October: New Hours and Vibe

The good news is that the building didn't have time to get lonely at all since Butterlove hasn't even been gone a month. Now the new owners at Mi Gente have a little over a month to get things ready for the new location.
This is more good news for Amarillo.
