Booze, Bubbles, and Bread: The Unusual Combo Taking Over the I-40 Coulter Parking Lot
When things start moving in Amarillo, we like to take notice. It's been a while since we asked the question, wanting to know what was being built in the WTF (West Texas Fresh) parking lot.
The "WTF" Location: Finding Mix’d Up at I-40 and Coulter
Not only has the question been answered, but they are in the process of their soft opening. All we were told was that it was going to be the same setup, different cuisine. Yep, really different, and it is something we don't have in Amarillo.

The Menu: Seven "THICC" Sourdough Grilled Cheese
The place is called Mix'd Up, and they are officially open for business.
Mix’d Up is located in the same WTF parking lot/next to Golden Corral I-40. Create your own dirty soda, pair it with one of our epic THICC grilled cheeses. Try one of our adult drink mixes or cool off with a house-made soft frozen margarita. YESSS, it’s liquor, none of this malt BS, have your I.D & come see us starting this upcoming Monday. If you have questions, let me know. - Andreea
Dirty Sodas and Energy Drinks: Customizing Your Caffeine
A place that has a variety of drinks, both adult and for everyone else, and grilled cheeses. What's not to love? They have 7 different varieties of grilled cheeses, all on sourdough. You can also get tomato soup or choose a side of chips, popcorn, or a bakery item.
The drink menu has a lot to choose from, either a soda or an energy drink. You can even make it a dirty soda. The adult beverages are the real deal. They are served with real liquor like tequila, whiskey, vodka, rum, and gin. You can even make your soda a little stronger with a shot of something special.
The Adult Drink Menu: Real Liquor and the "Food First" Rule
The only rule is that if you order an adult beverage, you must also order food. Of course, make sure you have your ID, but the menu is something we haven't seen in Amarillo. Drinks and grilled cheese. I'm in.
