Wolflin Streets To Come Alive: The Annual Tradition You Won’t Want To Miss
Once July hits in Amarillo, you know exactly what that means: the heat is officially here, summer is in full swing, and one of our community's most heartfelt traditions is fast approaching. The MTK Run is back.
It is a morning I personally look forward to every year, not just for the race, but for the chance to catch up with the incredible Knebusch family. We start early on a Saturday morning, always the third Saturday of the month, which this year lands on July 18, 2026.

The Wolflin Streets around Austin Park come to life with runners, walkers, and kids enjoying the sights and fun. Everyone is there for one cause: helping to put an end to childhood cancer. The MTK Foundation is here to do just that and honor the memory of Madison K Knebush.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, walking with friends, or just showing up for the fun run, we would love to see you there on July 18th! Bring your energy, your smiles, and maybe a little friendly competition because every child deserves brighter days ahead!
If you need to register or want more event details, you can click the official MTK event page.
