Amarillo Restaurant Mystery Solved: New Place is Moving Into Former Munchies
There have been a few questions going around about the former Munchie's location in Amarillo. They were located at 3rd and McMaster's until a fire forced them to shut down. There was hope that maybe they would make a comeback.

On the side of the main building was a banner that said 'Lupita's'. We have a few around town, so we are familiar with the restaurant. So we got excited, especially since if you drove by, there were cars in the parking lot.
Rumors & Signs Spark Speculation
We thought, maybe, they were already open. Something in that main building was open. Then if you follow a certain Amarillo Restaurant Group, you may have saw the posts and comments.

There is a weird sign on the door about deliveries and the side door being open 24/7. That left many wondering about that main building. We have also been confused about why there was a banner for Lupita's on the side of the building.
Lupita’s Express Is Coming
It turns out that the main building there at 3rd and McMaster's is whatever it is. I really don't know for sure. I will let everyone else speculate. What we can rejoice about is the little drive-thru attached to that building is going to be a Lupita's.
Opening Details & Hours
According to Lupita's it is going to be a Lupita's Express. It will be open from 7 am - 7 pm. The good news is that it will be opening soon. So I'm glad at least we will be seeing a Lupita's in that area soon, and the mystery has been solved.
