If you know anything about the Amarillo area you have come to expect the Boys Ranch Rodeo to happen over Labor Day Weekend. That is the way it has always happened so if you look at the calendar that was over a month ago.

So you may have just thought about it and wondered how you missed it this year. Well the good news is that you haven't. This is the 80th Anniversary and with the big year they decided to try something new.

One of the changes is that they didn't have it over the Labor Day Weekend. It is actually happening on Saturday, October 12th. It is just a one-day event. Oh, but that one day is going to be worth it.

They are kicking it off with a Fall Fest. The barbecue that they usually have is taking a break this year. Don't worry because there will still be food.

Fall Fest will be held from 10 am - 2 pm before the rodeo. Join us for Market Lane with local booth vendors, food truck row, interactive activities, fall fun craft booths, face painting, and a corn hole tournament. Admission is free.

There are several vendors and several food trucks so come ready to shop and eat. There will be plenty of time before the rodeo kicks off. If you want to see all of the vendors and food trucks you can check it out HERE.

The kids at Boys Ranch have worked hard for this big event. Make sure you get out and enjoy all the fun. Get some good food, bring home some great items, and cheer on the great Boys Ranch students.
