
Dasher Diary: Why This Amarillo Delivery Was a Perfect Win
A delivery like this in Amarillo doesn't come around very often. In fact, this is the first time it has come my way. It's not about the amount of money I made. Nope, it's about the end of a delivery day, lining up perfectly to make it a picture-perfect ending.
I had already decided that I was going to do one more delivery. That was all I needed for this Saturday to guarantee I could take Sunday off, which was my real motivation. My granddaughter was soon to be waking up from her afternoon nap, so I wanted to be home soon.
When a Delivery Lined Up Just Right
Then it happened. My phone dinged to indicate I had a customer. This one turned out to actually be a double order. Perfect, I will be one ahead when the week starts. Usually, with double orders, you either pick up two orders from the same restaurant or go to different places and then drop off.
Two Stops, No Stress
This one was different. I was to pick up from Panda Express and then drop the food off in San Jacinto. After that, I needed to pick up from La Bella's on Sixth just to drop it off at a store in Wolflin Village. Two deliveries that didn't take very long. It also didn't make me drive endless hours and miles. It was a win in my book

The food was ready when I got to both locations. This is what I considered a perfect delivery. At most, it took me twenty minutes, and I made close to twelve dollars when it was all said and done.
The Rare Perfect Run in Amarillo
I never left my preferred delivery area in Amarillo and was home before my granddaughter woke up. This is the kind of delivery you don't get very often, but it was one I appreciated oh so much.
