The Discovery Center is celebrating 50 years in Amarillo. To mark the occasion, they have been rolling out constant surprises for the community. The celebration started with the dinosaurs exhibit taking over.

A Golden Anniversary: 50 Years of the Discovery Center

Then, on top of that, they have different themed adult nights out. They have fun summer camps. You never know what they are going to think of next. One thing they did think of was bringing the Pink Floyd Laser Light Show back.

Nostalgia Meets Modern Tech: The Laser Show Returns

They started to show that every third Saturday, including extending their hours. So that has been a lot of fun. They have two separate showings on those Saturdays, and it doesn't cost any more to bring the family to enjoy this far-out fun.

This month, they decided to do something different with that show. They still have the regular showing as they had planned, but they are adding an additional showing. They’ve decided to make this one exclusive to those 21 and older.

The Discovery Center is hosting a Pink Floyd 21+ Laser Light Show on Friday, May 29, from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm. This is a great chance to invite your friends and go relive those days of seeing this show when you were growing up out at The Discovery Center.
