Prissy’s Barbecue Returns With New Amarillo Location

There has been a lot of news lately about new restaurants opening in Amarillo. Our cup is overflowing, and this is a great thing. We love to see the successes. Yes, we do occasionally have to talk about the places that have closed.

Luckily, the new places have been outnumbering the places that have closed. This looks good for Amarillo. Luckily, the good news keeps coming.

It was just a couple of weeks ago when we got to let Amarillo know about this recent good news for a new restaurant in Amarillo. Prissy's Barbecue was closing its doors in Tulia, which wasn’t the greatest news for the town.

The good news comes in the fact that they were opening a location here in Amarillo. They used to have a very successful food truck in our area. Then they opened their place in Tulia, but things have changed.

Why the Move From Tulia Back to Amarillo Happened

Anthony Sanders, the owner of Prissy's Barbecue, received a great opportunity, and he is taking it. He is moving Prissy's back to Amarillo. The recent announcement became even better for us as they closed their doors in Tulia, and they are now ready to open in Amarillo.

AMARILLO….we’re official!!! When opportunity knocks I tend to kick the door down! Soft opening Wednesday 8/27! Message me if you want to attend and I’ll give you a time!

First day in business THURSDAY 8/28, doors open at 11am!
Regular Hours of operations:
Wednesday - Saturday, 11am - 7pm or until SOLD OUT!
