So here is that perfect opportunity. Amarillo Parks and Recreation is hosting "Ready, Set, GLOW.  A night run at John Stiff Memorial Park, known to us long-time locals as Southwest Park. A chance to get out at night, and in cooler temperatures, and run with no other reason than to just run. This is not a timed race or anything competitive.

The night before Red, White, & BOOM! We will offer a fun, glow-in-the-dark race that is open to all! The road around the north side of the park will be closed to motorized traffic, allowing you to safely walk, run, or bike around the park!

This race is untimed and free to the public. Registration is not required. Parking available off 45th Ave. in both the paved and undeveloped parking lots.
