Survivors NWTX Tribe Ride This Weekend In Amarillo
Saturday is shaping up to be a beautiful day here in Bomb City. Highs in the low 80's screams getting outside and taking advantage of the weather.
If you have a motorcycle though, your day just got a bit more fun. This Saturday, June 26th, is the 2nd Annual Ride for Another Chance House. Hosted by the Survivors NWTX Tribe, this ride is going to be a great one, and of course benefit charity.
The ride will kick off with registration at 9am over at the Candlewood Suites in Western Crossing. Registration is $25 per bike and $10 per additional rider. The tickets will allow you to be a part of the ride, a meal and one prize ticket.
The route for the ride should be a pretty good one. It'll start at the Candlewood Suites, work it's way through Palo Duro Canyon and wrap up at Another Chance House on Jackson.
If you aren't a rider yourself, you can still come out to ACH and participate in the BBQ happening there. Tickets for the meals are only $10 and all proceeds from that and the ride will go to Another Chance House.
If you don't know what Another Chance House is, it's a structured living program that helps homeless men recover from the effects of homelessness. It holds up to 56 men at any given time and offers a myriad of programs to help these guys get back on their feet.
Come on out and support ACH and the ride in some capacity if you can. It's how we make Amarillo stronger together.
