Coming Soon to Amarillo: The ‘Mom Lounge’ and Kids’ Cafe Every Parent Has Been Waiting For

Having my granddaughter living in Amarillo has put me on a different hunt. I try to look for all the fun things that she can do. She is only four, so some of the normal kid stuff in the area is a bit too big for her, for now.

I want to keep her this age because it is just so fun watching her discover and try new things. One of the new things that I look forward to her trying out is something I was scrolling through social media and just discovered someone asking about it.

What is Sweet Times Villages?

There is a fun new toddler-friendly play place heading to town. The place is called Sweet Times Villages, and though it is not fully ready to be open, the talk is already starting. So much so that the owner had to take to social media recently.

Eight Playhouses and a Road for Little Tikes

Hey everyone! I’m Melanie Jackson. I’m the owner of Sweet Times Villages. It’s coming together but not yet ready for little kiddos. I don’t have an opening day as of yet but very soon! It’s a ‘mom's lounge/kids cafe play place’ We have eight exciting playhouses, will have a road so little tikes cars can ride around the building on, a baby area, a large couch for parents, an event room for parties, and eventually a soda bar!!! Can’t wait to meet everyone very soon!

I drove by recently and could see some of the playhouses that are already together. It looks like it's going to be another great place for the kiddos to play. There is a similar place in town that we have been taking the granddaughter to, but it's nice to have another one added.

This one will have a mom's lounge as well, which sounds like a great addition. Even though they are not open yet, the word is spreading, and Amarillo can't wait to see this new business, Sweet Times Villages, open and give the kids a place to have fun.
