Beyond the Big Screen: Why the Tascosa Drive-In is the Place to Be This Saturday Morning
The weather is warmer in Amarillo. Spring is in the air. It is time to get outside and find things to do. One of the things we like to do is shop. We like to shop indoors, but when we can take it outside, I feel we find even better deals.
Tascosa Drive-In is back with its swap meets for the 2026 season. They are doing things just a little bit differently this year. Last year, they did it all themselves. This year, they are calling in for a little help:
Swap Meets are returning to Tascosa Drive-In!
Last season we hosted a few ourselves and they were a lot of fun, but with three businesses to run it became a little more than we could keep up with. So this year we’re handing the reins over to Ronnie and Four Seasons Swap Meets, who will now be organizing and running the events here at the Drive-In.
We’re excited to welcome all kinds of vendors and treasures. Whether you sell hot rod parts, motorcycle parts, antiques, vintage signs, baked goods, jerky, salsa, jewelry, handmade goods, collectibles, tools, or just about anything interesting — all items are welcome!
Their first swap meet of the season is happening on Saturday, March 14, from 8 am - 5 pm. The admission is free for shoppers. You will be able to shop for all kinds of great items.
Treasure Hunting: What You Can Find at the Drive-In
There will be parts to vehicles, permanent jewelry, salsa, stuff for the mancave, vintage signs, antiques, beef jerky, and baked goods. There could even be some more surprises because they are still looking for even more vendors.
Shopping for a Cause: How Your Visit Supports TOADS
If you have something you would like to bring out to the Swap Meet to sell, you can still reach out to get a booth space. That space will only cost $30 for a 12x12 space, with $5 from each space benefiting TOADS (Type One Area Diabetic Support).
Become a Vendor: Booth Pricing and Requirements
This Saturday, you can get out and sell or get out and shop. Either way, you will go home with a treasure.
