Texas Rose Steakhouse Gears Up to Open in Amarillo & Close Another

Things are changing pretty fast in Amarillo. Things are opening up all the time. The newest location of Sticky Chikky is hitting Ross Street pretty soon. And just the other day, we found out that the 2nd location of Chipotle opened on Coulter.

Another Restaurant Joins the Amarillo Food Scene

If you go right up the street from the Chipotle location, you can watch them frantically working on the once Rib Crib location. The remodel is basically done, and they have started the hiring process.

From Rib Crib to Texas Rose

Once everyone is hired into place, then the training will begin. We found out not too long ago that the Rib Crib will be turning into a Texas Rose Steakhouse. They have a location already in Canyon, Pampa, and Borger. Amarillo is next on the list.

According to their social media, we are not too far away from seeing them open the door. The hiring has started, and the training is going on. Luckily, the menu won’t be much different from their other locations.

If you are looking for great steaks, sandwiches, BBQ, Catfish, and of course, they have to throw in the "and more". Pretty soon, you will look no further than the Texas Rose Steakhouse.

Some Unexpected News Coming Out Of Canyon

While they have had a location in Canyon, they made an announcement recently that not many were expecting. According to their social media:

As we prepare to relocate to Amarillo, our Canyon location will close on Sunday, November 23.

Please know that all unredeemed gift cards will be welcomed at our Amarillo, Pampa, and Borger restaurants.

Why Amarillo’s Excited for This Expansion

We have a bit under two months left in 2025, and I can only imagine we will be able to grab a few holiday meals soon before too long. We can't wait to welcome Texas Rose Steakhouse to Amarillo.
