Big Kids Stay Home: The New Event at Maxwell’s Just for Amarillo’s Littlest Farmers
When you have little ones in Amarillo, sometimes it is a struggle to find things for them to do. Yes, they can attend all the same events as the bigger kids, but it seems you worry more about them playing with the bigger kids.
The Toddler Struggle: Why a Dedicated Playday is a Game Changer
There is the fear that they are going to get hurt, even though it's not on purpose; it happens. So if you can find fun things just for the littlest of kids, I always feel much better bringing my granddaughter to those.
We usually go to Toddler Time at Amp'd, where it is just a time for the little ones to jump. We love to let her play at Little Bees and are looking forward to Sweet Times Villages opening too.

I try to keep an eye out for fun things I can take my 4-year-old granddaughter to. So when I saw this newly added day out at Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm, it got me adding more to her calendar.
Little Farmer’s Playday: Safe Fun for Amarillo’s Youngest Explorers
They are introducing a Little Farmer's Playday on May 4th. They already have days for homeschool and daycare kids. They have a day for school groups. Now they added a day for the littles, and I couldn't be more excited:
We are super excited about the SPRING EVENTS at Maxwell’s Pumpkin Farm! This year, we added “Little Farmers Playday” designed for ages 1-4 years old. We will have hands-on activities, and Storybridge will be here to share with us during Storytime. You won’t want to miss Spring Events at Maxwell’s.
My granddaughter always has a blast out at Maxwell's. She loves jumping on the jump pads. She loves burying herself in the corn. She loves feeding the animals. She also loves the slides, but a lot of times, there are way too many big kids, and we hate for her to get in the way or get hurt.
Event Logistics: Date, Time, and Ticket Prices
So this is a time where it will only be other kids her age and size, so it will be a lot of fun. The Little Farmer's Playday is happening Monday, May 4th, from 9 am - 12 pm. The cost is $8 per person, age three and older.
