Top Reasons Not to Move to Amarillo

How long have you lived in Amarillo? Are you a lifer? Have you been here pretty much forever? You then know what I am talking about when I say there are plenty of reasons why you shouldn't move to Amarillo.

You may even be able to add to this list. You may even have your own list. It may be growing as you drive in traffic on I40. I get it the Chamber of Commerce shares all these great reasons that you need to be here in Amarillo.

Don't listen to them. I beg. I plead. As you go through this list you will understand. Don't believe all the hype.

Sure we have area events to keep the family happy. Yes, we can have all four seasons in one day. We like to keep you on your toes. The sunrises and sunsets are fabulous here. The wind is not. Unless you own a wind turbine. You will love our wind then.

Those are not the reasons I think you will find not to move here.
