Want to Help Kids with Cancer? Volunteer at This Amarillo Camp
Facing a cancer diagnosis in Amarillo can be scary for anyone. Then imagine you hear it about your own child. Nothing could be more heart-wrenching than that. It's something that a lot of parents in the Texas Panhandle have to deal with.
We already know it takes a village to raise a child, but when you find out that your child is having to fight cancer, that village needs to help the whole family. The more support you can get, the better. The more groups you can join, the more families you can meet that are going through the same thing can help significantly.
What Is Camp Alphie?
That’s where Camp Alphie steps in - a camp that gives children fighting cancer a chance to bond, heal, and just be kids.
