Watch Greta Van Fleet Make TV Debut on ‘Jimmy Fallon’
Earlier this month, Greta Van Fleet released "When the Curtain Falls," the first single off their forthcoming debut record and now the rising rock upstarts have made their television debut, performing the track on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The live studio audience got a heavy dose of old school rock 'n' roll as the band broke into their performance with a high-pitched wail from singer Josh Kiszka. By sight and sound, they took the crowd back to rock's classic years with "When the Curtain Falls," receiving a standing ovation as a wide-eyed Fallon eagerly rushed to shake their hands at the end of the song.
Details about Greta Van Fleet's full length debut have yet to surface, but in a recent interview, bassist Sam Kiszka told us, "We had all these songs we wrote three to five years ago that we were just going to put on the album. It very quickly became all new material, so I’d say about three-quarters of the songs are songs we wrote in the studio. It just happened very quickly, we got everything done in two weeks. We were aching to make this album.”
As Fallon exclaims at the end of the video, Greta Van Fleet are currently on the road, in the midst of a massive world tour. Hear here to see the full list of stops.
