Wonderful News The Sky Will Light Up Over Lake Meredith Again

It's been a long past few years. A lot of things have changed since 2019. I mean we went through a whole Pandemic. We were all home a lot. Things were canceled. It took a while but we are back and better than ever.

One of the things I look forward to the most about summer, besides just the weather. Is getting to get outside. Ok, that is also because of the weather. There are so many things to go outside and do.

Oh, and nothing screams summer and getting outside more than fireworks. That is one of the ultimate summer activities. I am more of a fan of letting the professionals handle the lights in the sky.

It's been a pretty long wait but finally, they are going to have fireworks over Lake Meredith again. The last time this was a thing was back in 2019. Then of course the fun was cancelled because of 2020. Then we had some summers with questionable rain amounts.

Of course, fireworks cost a pretty penny too. So not having the funds to pull something like that has hurt them too. Not to worry though, this is the year. The long wait is over. The drought, so to speak, is over.

The fireworks will be brought back to shoot off at Lake Meredith. They already had the money donated to them from a local business. So that will not be an issue this year. The show will go on.

Not only will you have great fireworks lighting up the sky on July 1st but there will also be a movie shown after. So a few great reasons to head out to Lake Meredith with the family this summer.
