If you grew up in the nineties and you hear something mentioned about Waco, TX, there may be one thing that comes to your mind: the Branch Davidians and David Koresh. Even living in Texas that is what comes to mind first when I hear anything about Waco.

It's just something that happens. That was a crazy time. That was a sad and crazy ending when we saw the coverage of the place going up in flames. That was back in 1993 which seems like a world away.

That was over thirty years ago but it still is fresh in a lot of our minds. Especially for those who have watched any documentary on it. Paramount even had a mini-series several years ago called "Waco". So even those who didn't live through it know the stories and what may or may not have happened. It was definitely a crazy time.

What do you think that compound looks like now? After a fire and years and years. Did they end up doing something with the property? Did they decide to move on and make something of the land? Was it bought up by a group to make Waco great again? I'm just asking the questions.

Luckily we are able to see exactly what has happened with the land.

Apparently, you can tour the land. They turned it into a tourist attraction. I had no idea. I guess it makes sense. If you don't learn from history you are destined to repeat it.

They have markers with the names of all who lost their lives that April day in 1993. So if you are in the Waco area you can take a tour.
