With a generous donation from The United Way of Amarillo And Canyon, Family Support Services is now offering telehealth mental health counseling amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Family Support Services is offering several different counseling sessions free of charge for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in any form.

Telehealth is the use of video and audio technologies to provide health services electronically between counselors and their clients. It’s as easy as clicking the unique link shared by your counselor. There are no apps to download. Join your session from a mobile phone, tablet, or computer. Just click, enter your name, and join.

These services are provided by licensed professional counselors and licensed social workers. Call 806-342-2500 for an intake appointment. Family Support Services is also continuing to do trauma-informed yoga via Zoom and that's a free service to people whether you're an existing client or not. If you’re struggling with your thoughts, pick up the phone and call 9-1-1 or you can text the crisis text line at 741-741 and type in the word “home” or you can call the Suicide Prevention Hotline at one 800 273 talk.
