Amarillo Food Challenges That Do Not Include 72 OZ of Steak

Everyone who is anyone knows about The Big Texan Steak Challenge. I mean if you are driving anywhere on I40 you are destined to see one of the billboards they have boasting about it.

Plus we have several celebrities that come to town to try their hand at the challenge. So that challenge is pretty well known. The thing is that Amarillo does have other food challenges out there if you dare.

So I went on a hunt to see what else is out there. Who else will serve you with a Texas amount of food to see if you can handle it? There are Pho challenges. If you like BBQ don't worry Amarillo has that too.

You name a food and there is probably a challenge that you can try here in Amarillo. Do you think you can finish one? I always thought that I could handle the challenge at The Big Texan on a good day.

I have never tried it. Maybe one day I will. If not I now know that there are plenty of other food challenges you can try right here in Amarillo.
