This is the time of year that we are looking for things to keep our family in the holiday spirit. The more events that we have that we can see lights, see Christmas trees, and visit Santa the better.

I know those Christmas lists will change time and time again. The kids are always saying "do you know what I really want for Christmas?" That list will keep changing. So it's ok if you see Santa more than once. They make for great photo opportunities anyway.

Maxwell's Magical Christmas

The folks at Maxwell Pumpkin Farms have made a way to keep the fun going way into the Christmas season. They will open their third Christmas season coming up on December second. Oh, and it is magical as the name implies.

They are going to have over a million lights shining bright. I mean if you want to count them go for it. I will take their word for it. They are going to be a sight to see for sure.

They are going to make it easy for you. You will be able to park your cars and then take the grain train to where all the fun will be. Owner Larry Borger is ready to see all of the smiling faces:

Families will be greeted with a 30-foot tall Christmas tree featuring 20,000 lights in the middle of the Green Acres area,” explains Borger. “We also have a 50-foot tall pixel tree with 20,000 pixels dancing with designs and colors. It’s topped off with an 8-foot, 3-dimensional star. Folks should be able to see the tree from I-27,” adds Borger. “A walking trail of lights with a 100-foot tunnel of lights provides a perfect holiday photo op with friends and family,” says Borger.

Maxwell's will have a lot of the family favorites from the pumpkin farm including Apple Cannons * Jumping Pillows * Giant Jump Pad * Tube Swings * Mountain Slides * Bunnyville * Rat Rollers * Ducky Derby with Christmas Ducks * Pedal Cars * Trike Town * And more.
